You can also walk through a glass tunnel and look at the largest collection of sharks in Europe, along with morays and barracudas.
You can expect to spend a couple of hours looking around and more if you opt for the 3D video presentation. There are also several daily demonstrations.
There are some fabulous sea creatures, including several different species of seahorse, angel fish, lobster, cardinal fish, yellow-tailed sturgeon, scorpion fish, conger eels, jellyfish, sea slugs and crabs. The decorative tanks, several with shipwreck themes, have magnifying and minifying glass which work effectively to give a three-dimensional wide-ocean feel.
Sealife is one of a group of 25 European aquariums. Conservation is an important aspect of all the centres and Benalmadena has its own troubleshooting team, dedicated to the rescue and preservation of the coast's marine life.
Sea Life's exhibitions include: Rocky Depths, Sandy Depths, Nursery, Sea Lab, Mediterranean Sea, Kingdom of Seahorses, Mediterranean Tunnel, Tropical Seas, Simulator and Lost City of Atlantis.

Jardin de Las Aguilas (Garden of Eagles)
By Dee McMath
The Jardin de las Aguilas is a wonderful Birds of Prey Centre clearly signposted from Benalmadena pueblo. Majestic birds of prey spread their wings under the supervision of expert handlers at the Jardin de las Aguilas. There are displays throughout the day giving all 152 birds a turn. Among the stars is Yaku, a rare Condor.

In this fabulous zoological garden overlooking the Mediterranean at 250 above sea level, there are daily demonstrations of magnificent birds of prey in flight. The centre is dedicated to raising and protecting many different types of birds. You can see eagles, falcons and vultures flying freely. The experience of seeing the majestic flight of these great birds at close hand is enhanced by the medieval atmosphere of the nearby Castillo de Colomares (Colomares Castle), which is a must to visit in the same day and an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

To get there, take the road down towards the coast from Benalmadena Pueblo. Next door there is a miniature castle to visit Castillo de Colomares with beautiful grounds to walk around, breathtaking views and Snake City, an impressive reptile sanctuary that will be sure to make your skin crawl.

karting club mijas
The Málaga Karting Club, located in Mijas, is a very interesting option for speed lovers. Covering an area of 30,000 m2, the place gives us the opportunity to emulate the big names of motor racing - just when the driver from Asturias, Fernando Alonso, is on a winning streak - or simply to measure ourselves against pilots with the skills similar to ours.
For the visitors' benefit, there is an extraordinary track whose length and flawlessness make it apt to carry out go-cart or scooters championships as well as rallies. The facility is also provided with an ample parking area, a pits area, a repair shop, a shop, a large deck and a spacious restaurant bar.
The centre opens at 10:00 and has five different types of karts to choose from, depending on the driver's age: Competition Kart (18 years and older), Formula Kart (over 15), Junior Kart (over 10), Pony Kart (over 5) and Two-seater Kart (fitting an adult and a child under 5 years old).
In addition, this is a perfect place for celebrating special events. That is how birthdays parties, communions, business meals and farewell parties become the best occasions to race and compete. In order to make it more realistic, there is a prize giving ceremony at the end of each race, where the three finalists are awarded.
Put on your helmet, buckle up and enjoy driving a small but fast vehicle at the Málaga Karting Club in Mijas.
